Kelly Juhasz Appraising Art in Toronto Canada

Kelly Juhasz is the principal of Fine Art Appraisal and Services.

In her practice, Kelly is known for appraising fine art and archival collections for museums, private collectors, insurance companies and wealth advisors.

Under Kelly’s leadership, Fine Art Appraisal and Services has appraised over $130 million of personal property. In addition to appraisal, we offer collections management, sales representation and artist legacy services. Kelly also acts as an expert witness in legal matters.

Kelly is an Accredited Member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) and was President on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Chapter from 2016-2021. Kelly is a member of ISA’s Private Client Services Group, a group of qualified appraisers who have completed specialized training and hold senior level industry experience in dealing with High-Net-Worth Individuals. She was the winner of the ISA Canadian Chapter Impact Award in 2023, 2021 ISA Distinguished Service Award – Fine Art, and the 2017 ISA Rising Leader Award.

Kelly holds a Master of Information Studies, Archival Science from the University of Toronto and a BA (Hons), Art History from the University of Ottawa (partially completed at the University of Siena, Italy). She also holds a Master’s specialization in Knowledge Media Design, University of Toronto; a BA, Communications, University of Ottawa; and a Marketing Diploma from the Academy of Design.

The Canadian Cultural Property Export Review Board (CCPERB) tapped Kelly’s expertise to create an appraisal resource to assist museums and archives with their applications for cultural property.
